The plant startup ruuds views sustainability as a default and strives to make it easier to buy long-lasting, family-farm-grown plants in eco-friendly pots. The founding team had been focused on building a thoughtful brand identity from day one and wanted our support in complementing the strategy and positioning with storytelling.

The task was to strengthen the existing brand identity with compelling imagery. In a collaborative process with the clients, the storytelling was developed and the photoshoot was organized. With experienced direction, we coordinated all contributors on shoot day and successfully executed set styling and art direction. Much more footage than expected was produced.

Meaningful, consistent imagery is essential for brands, but for startups, production efforts can be a challenge. We were able to organize a one-day-only photoshoot with the combined experience of project management, set styling, art direction and empathetic team leadership that resulted in extensive results with impact.

With two photographers and always three setups in parallel – either setting up, lighting or shooting – we got the most out of the shooting day. In complex, puzzle-like art direction projects, we thrive!
